From Silsden follow the A6034 and turn right at Brown Bank Lane and follow for about 2 miles and turn right at Light Bank Lane and follow till you see the entrance on the left.
Brown Cow, Scammonden near Halifax
From the M62 come off at Junction 22 and follow the Ripponden sign. Turn right immediately after the traffic lights in Ripponden (Elland Road). At the top of the hill take a right fork. Then take the second right B6114. This takes you over the single span bridge on the M62. The first building at the othe side of the single span bridge is what used to be the Brown Cow. Immediatley after this building is a metal gate, on the right, turn in and go to the top of the track. From Halifax pick up the B6114 at West Vale off the Huddersfield Rd (A629)
Off the M62 at Junction 26. Take the Cleckheaton / Dewsbury road. Go through the first set of lights. As you approach the Pelican crossing, turn left at Balme Road. Follow the road till you come to a sharp right turn, this is Cliffe Lane. Follow the road for ΒΌ mile and look for some gates on the left with a rockery. Turn in through the gates.
Take the A646 from Halifax to Todmorden, (about 10 miles )continue on the A646 out of Todmorden to Portsmouth and the land is just off the main A646 road, to the left just past the Lancashire boundary sign. Total mileage from Halifax approx 14 miles.
Dean Head, Scammonden near Halifax

Harden Moor between Bingley and Denholme
From Halifax follow the A629 to Denholme. At the Five Flags restaurant turn right (signposted Bingley and Cullingworth). On coming out of Cullingworth look,on the left for a small road called Keighley Rd. Follow the road up the hill and at the Guide Inn turn right (Ryecroft Road). 200mts on the left turn in through gate.
Take A58 to Drighlington traffic lights, turn towards Bradford, turn right at first pub on right, go past Tong Garden Centre half a mile, turn left when you see flags.
If going to the venue, from the Halifax/Huddersfield area, take the A629 and follow it to Shepley. From there take the A635 to Barnsley. Before reaching Cawthorne look for a road called North Lane, there is a pipe works on the junction on your right, follow it down and look for Pashley Green Farm on your right. From the M1 come off at junction 38 and take the A637 towards Barnsley but turn right at the A635 towards Cawthorne. Go through Cawthorne and look for North Lane on your left,pipe works on the junction. Go down past the pipe works and look for Pashley Green Farm on your right. If you get to a double S bend you have gone too far.
From the A629 Halifax to Keighley Road turn left or right,(depends which way you are travelling) at its junction with Thornton Road, B6145. Turn left at the Brown Cow and Copper Kettle into Brighouse Road A644 then first right, by Keelham School, into Well Heads. Turn left into Half Acre Road and follow it to the Rock Inn junction and go across the junction into Egypt Road. Follow it down the hill to the bottom and look for the gate , on the right, leading in to the land.
From Huddersfield take the A640 to Rochdale. At the M62 Junction 23 continue along the A640, this then crosses back across the M62. Just after the bridge turn left into Quebec Road. The entrance to the quarry is first left through big green gates.
